SUSTAINABILITY

After acquisition of WesternMICROFILM in 2007, energy use at our Bellevue facility was reduced by 50% over a 3 year period. Results came from improving our work environment and removing unnecessary office equipment. In the same period, operating hours increased by 116%, effectively doubling our hours of operation.

BEST PRACTICES

The company has two production facilities in Washington State. Each is managed by software from EMC, Kofax, PSIGEN, and Microsoft, and powered by Kodak scanners. On-site servers provide RAID6 storage for internal operations with mirrored data systems. Our microfilm development lab is Kodak certified to ensure full recovery of your film in event of loss due to water.

SaaS document management software is provided by a secured facility, certified for SAS70 Type II, with industry standard security practices and third party vulnerability auditing by Deloitte Touche.

PRINCIPAL

Principal, Peter Frix, received certifications as an Electronic Information Records Manager (CEIRM) by the University of Washington in 2000, and a Document Imaging Architect (CDIA) in 1998. Peter holds a BA in Management from the University of Portland.
